A Hesitant Fuzzy Linguistic TODIM Method Based on a Score Function
نویسندگان
چکیده
Hesitant fuzzy linguistic term sets (HFLTSs) are very useful for dealing with the situations in which the decision makers hesitate among several linguistic terms to assess an alternative. Some multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) methods have been developed to deal with HFLTSs. These methods are derived under the assumption that the decision maker is completely rational and do not consider the decision maker’s psychological behavior. But some studies about behavioral experiments have shown that the decision maker is bounded rational in decision processes and the behavior of the decision maker plays an important role in decision analysis. In this paper, we extend the classical TODIM (an acronym in Portuguese of interactive and multi-criteria decision-making) method to solve MCDM problems dealing with HFLTSs and considering the decision maker’s psychological behavior. A novel score function to compare HFLTSs more effectively is defined. This function is also used in the proposed TODIMmethod. Finally, a decision-making problem that concerns the evaluation and ranking of several telecommunications service providers is used to illustrate the validity and applicability of the proposed method.

The 2-additive fuzzy Choquet integral-based TODIM method with improved score function under hesitant fuzzy environment
Recently, the TODIM$^1$(an acronym in Portuguese of interactive and multi-criteria decision making) method has attracted increasing attention and many researchers have extended it to deal with multiple attribute decision making (MADM) problems under different situations. However, none of them can be used to handle MADM problems with positive, independent, and negative interactions among attribu...
متن کاملHesitant Fuzzy Multiple Criteria Decision Analysis Based on TODIM
The TODIM is a valuable technique for solving classical MCDM problems in case of considering the decision maker’s psychological behavior. One main goal of this chapter is to introduce the measured functions-based hesitant fuzzy TODIM technique to deal with the behavioral MCDM problem under hesitant fuzzy environments. The main advantages of this technique are that (1) it can handle the MCDM pro...
متن کاملComparative Analysis of Multi-criteria Evaluation of Sustainable Supplier Selection Problem Based on Hesitant Fuzzy Linguistic Term Sets
The sustainable supplier selection process requires consideration of multi-criteria evaluations. In recent years, to prevent the hesitation of different linguistic expressions by the decision makers, and to help the selection of the best one as the solution of different alternatives, researchers have been using several methods such as hesitant fuzzy linguistic term sets (HFLTS), hesitant fuzzy ...
متن کاملSolving matrix games with hesitant fuzzy pay-offs
The objective of this paper is to develop matrix games with pay-offs of triangular hesitant fuzzy elements (THFEs). To solve such games, a new methodology has been derived based on the notion of weighted average operator and score function of THFEs. Firstly, we formulate two non-linear programming problems with THFEs. Then applying the score function of THFEs, we transform these two problems in...
متن کاملA Multi-Criteria Decision-Making Approach based on TODIM and Choquet Integral within a Multiset Hesitant Fuzzy Environment
Hesitant fuzzy sets (HFSs), which were generalized from fuzzy sets, constrain the membership degree of an element to be a set of possible values between zero and one; furthermore if two or more decision-makers select the same value, it is only counted once. However, a situation where the evaluation value is repeated several times differs from one where the value appears only once. Multiset hesi...
